Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how SpellBee Kids ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you or your child uses the SpellBee Kids mobile application (the "App").

SpellBee Kids is designed for children ages 4 and up. We take children's privacy seriously and have built the App to operate without collecting, storing, or sharing any personal information.

The short version: SpellBee Kids does not collect any personal data from you or your child. All game progress is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us or any third party.

Information We Do Not Collect
SpellBee Kids does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Names, email addresses, or contact information
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Location data
Photos, microphone input, or camera data
Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
Crash reports sent to our servers
Any information about the child using the app
We do not have servers that receive data from the App. There is no backend, no database, and no user accounts.

Data Stored on Your Device
SpellBee Kids stores the following information locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us:

Game progress, XP points, and level
Badges earned
Words practiced and test results
Selected grade level and preferences
Free trial start date
This data is stored using Apple's standard on-device storage (NSUserDefaults / Capacitor Preferences). You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the App.

In-App Purchases
SpellBee Kids offers optional in-app purchases, including a monthly subscription and one-time word packs. All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.

We never see, receive, or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy policy governs all purchase transactions.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)
SpellBee Kids is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable international children's privacy laws.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 — or from anyone else. The App is designed to function entirely without collecting personal data.
Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, parental consent for data collection is not required. However, we encourage parents to supervise their children's use of in-app purchases.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at the address below and we will take prompt action to delete it.

Third-Party Services
SpellBee Kids uses the following Apple system services, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy:

AVSpeechSynthesizer — Apple's on-device text-to-speech engine. All speech synthesis happens on your device with no data sent to Apple's servers.
StoreKit — Apple's in-app purchase framework. Handles all payment processing.
Capacitor Preferences — On-device local storage only.
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, social media SDKs, or crash reporting services.

Data Security
Because SpellBee Kids does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk of a breach on our end. All app data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS's built-in security measures.

If you lose or replace your device, your game progress is not recoverable from our end, as we have no copies of it.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If we ever change our data practices in a material way, we will notify users through an in-app notice.
