1. Introduction

Math Flash ("the App") is an educational math flashcard game designed for children in grades 1 through 6. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information and is intended to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Apple's App Store Guidelines for the Kids Category, and all other applicable privacy regulations.

The App is developed and published by Dan Spirgen ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
• We do not collect device identifiers or location data.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
• We do not collect photos, videos, audio, or any other media from users.
• We do not require account creation or login of any kind.

3. Data Stored on Device

The App stores the following data locally on the user's device to support gameplay functionality:

• Game progress: scores, streaks, and statistics history.
• Preferences: selected grade level, mascot, theme, and sound settings.
• Virtual currency: earned coins and unlocked items (mascots, themes).

This data is stored entirely on the device using the operating system's built-in storage (Capacitor Preferences). None of this data is transmitted off the device, uploaded to any server, or shared with any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media SDKs. Specifically:

• The App contains no advertisements.
• The App includes no analytics or tracking SDKs.
• The App makes no network requests — it functions entirely offline.
• The App does not link to external websites or other apps.

5. In-App Purchases

The App does not offer any in-app purchases or real-money transactions. All virtual currency (coins) and unlockable items are earned through gameplay only.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is designed specifically for children and complies with COPPA requirements:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or any user of any age).
• We do not enable children to publicly disclose personal information.
• The App contains no social features, chat, user-generated content, or multiplayer networking.
• The two-player battle mode operates locally on a single device with no network communication.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. There is nothing to share, sell, rent, or disclose.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All game data is stored locally on the device. Users or their parents/guardians can delete all App data at any time by:

• Deleting the App from the device, which removes all associated data.
• Using the device's Settings to clear the App's stored data.

9. Security

Because the App does not collect or transmit any data, there are no data security risks related to network transmission or server storage. All data remains protected by the device's own security mechanisms.

10. Parental Rights

Since we do not collect any personal information, there is no personal data to review, modify, or delete. Parents or guardians can uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored game data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Any material changes to data practices would require a new version of the App to be submitted and reviewed through the App Store.
